Beijing, Nov 14 -  Unexpected snow fumes across northern China have slaughtered at least 40 population and reduced assemblies and ravaged some thousand acres of winter crop.

In a assertion on its website, Civil Affairs Ministry’s on Friday, 19 said that 19 of the deaths were due to traffic misfortunes related to the storms. More than seven million population have been washed higher or otherwise influenced by the fumes which started Nov 9. The fumes have reduced 500,000 acres (200,000 hectares) of winter crops and have caused an presumed fiscal losses of 4.5 billion yuan (US $659 mn), the ministry said. This is the heaviest blizzard the countryside has supposed ever since it commenced recording it in 1949.

Heavy Snow fall threat for Highlands

Looks like Christmas is not yet over for Highlanders in terms of snow.

High amount of snow fall has been recorded in many parts of Highlands especially in the western region.

All transport services have been blocked and complains from all over the city of power cuts and road blocks are pouring to the service centers.

The snow hasn’t taken a break in the last few days, it has been continuously pouring down accumulating thick blocks of ice upto 5 to 10 cm everywhere.

Pedestrians have been warned against going out in the snow as it might pose a huge threat to one’s life.

No tragic cases of anyone hurt or being caught in the snow has been reported yet.
The officials are working constantly to make sure that public is not being troubled.

Heavy Snow storm troubling most parts of Russia

Eastern parts of Russia, particularly Sakhalin Islands have been receiving major problems of transport and work because of the heavy snowfall caused due to a storm.

Cold weather is nothing new to this part of Russia. Many times temperatures have reached well below zero level.
The storm has reduced the visibility range to as low as 50 m. This is causing major concerns for transportation and posing a major threat to accidents.

The storm started building up in the Sea of Japan which then blew towards Russia dumping huge amount of snow everywhere.

If this is the situation in the Eastern side, Western Russia has been doing better in terms of weather conditions.
In places like Moscow morning temperatures used be as much as -7 degree C, but now they have rise upto -2 and 1 degrees C.

Climate department believe that the temperatures will rise further in the next few days giving way to a sunny morning in Russia. This has left many people stranded at home and stuck to staying at their house watching TV or playing slot games online.

Early visit of winter to UK and in many parts of USA. They have been receiving to very cold winds and temperature reaching 6 C.
The temperature resemble to temperatures that of December and January’s temperatures.
All warnings of heavy snow fall which might cause a lot of damage in the daily routine of people, has already been given to make sure that people are prepared rather than surprised.
Across the Atlantic, parts of North America have also been hit by wintry weather, with Fargo in North Dakota breaking its previous record for snowfall at this time of year. Around 1.4 inches (36mm) or snow fell over a 12 hour period on Sunday.
Similar conditions are with USA also.

Colorado and Nebraska have received their first amount of snow fall this Friday; this is an early winter call for the states.
The storm pushed southeast and out of the Rockies on Tuesday night, bringing strong winds, heavy rain and dumping around 20cm (8inches) of snow across parts of Colorado.
This early snow fall has caused a lot of problems for travelers at the same time daily routines. But it is an early call for the ski season to pick up.
Central plains have also received a slight hint of snow, with strong, cool winds flowing.
In Nebraska the snow fall continued all day depositing snow on highways and everywhere else. This caused chaos as there were power shortages and inconvenience to general public.
The winds are expected to move towards the eastern states of US giving them their early experience of snow fall.

Blizzard Covers Ohio Ground With Snow

A heavy blizzard recently landed on Ohio, covering the whole state with thick snow. The snow was more than 20 inches thick in the capital city Columbus, and has set a new record, breaking the town’s previous record of 15.3 inches back in February 1910. Several other places were affected too, including Indiana, Arkansas, Louisville and several others. The phenomenon has caused major traffic congestions while officers had issued a warning to citizens to not drive unless there were emergencies. On the other hand, flights within the state had to be either canceled or delayed due to the hazardous conditions.
