Three Suicide Bombs Set Off During the Shiite processions

In Lahore, Pakistan on Wednesday, three different suicide bombs went off during the progression of the Shiite. At this time 31 deaths have been reported.

The three different blast happened within an area of 2000 feet injuring as many as 340 people. There were 7 that received serious injuries.

It was the work of suicide bombers. One officer saw a bomber just as the progression was coming to an end. He was unable to reach the person soon enough to stop him from detonating the bomb.

Just 3 to 4 minutes after the first went off, another explosion was set off and then another one 25 minutes later. While investigating the bombings there has been 2 heads and a torso found in separate areas.

Police had let up on the security during the procession as it was ending. There were 2500 officers patrolling during the procession. They had been told that a assault could be taking place.

“At the end of the procession, security should have been more vigilant,” Pervez said. “The incident happened because of security breach.”

The country of Pakistan consist of mainly Sunni Muslims. There have always been tension between the Sunni nation and the Shiites.

Local stations are showing photos of people who are very upset with the police, some are hitting them, others are burning cars and some are attempting to bust into a police station. Paramilitary units are patrolling the streets trying to regain some control.

Shahdadkot, Pakistan is begining to look like a lake in areas. On Saturday, rising water jeopardised the mud shoulders which if broken down could put the enitre city under water, Shahdadkot is located in the Sindh province in Pakistan.

Pakistan is suffering from the biggest natural disaster it has ever seen. People are desperately trying to get out of the area to escape the second round of monsoon waters as it soars towards the southern areas.

In some areas already you can only see the roofs of houses that are beneath the flood waters. Everyone living in the area has been advised to leave.

People are piling all their belongings that they can fit onto old trucks and buses. They then ride onto of their belongings trying to get out of the area before the floods hit. Lots of them have no definite plan of where they are going. They only want to reach higher ground out of the range of the water.

There aren’t enough vehicles to help everyone get out. Some could be left behind trying to get as far above the water as they can.

In Pakistan, there are many towns that are also under water as is Shahdadkot. The water is predicted to start going down in the next few days. The last of it will recede into the Indus River and then on into the Arabian Sea.

After the waters recede, the dangers do not end. Then they will have the problem of no clean fresh water. People will be walking through polluted water in the streets. Over 200 places where they could get health care have been storm-beaten or ruined. This leaves people with no proper care  and the spreading of disease is inevitable.

There are at approximately 4 million people that are without homes.

In Pakistan, two landslides on Saturday resulted in more lives being loss.

At this time, 28 people who perished in the slides have been found while another 25 people are still missing.

Landslides are a result of torrential rainfall. The rainfall has flooded two villages which are located in the north parts of Pakistan.

As rain continues to drench the area, it continues to cause problems with getting help to the people who have been affected by it all.

The villages are located in the Gilgit-Baltistan province. They are still searching for bodies that could be covered over with mud.

Possibly 50 Die in Pakistan Bus Wreck

The bus was traveling down the road when suddenly it went off the road and into the river.

There are 50 or more travelers on the bus. There is  concern that all have perished.

The bus was traveling to Muzaffarabad. The river is located in the northern parts of Pakistan.

The accident happened on Thursday only a couple of miles away form the end of the trip in Muzaffarabad. The driver of the bus lost control.

There were witnesses to the accident that reported that the bus was over crowed. There were even people riding on the top of the bus.

At this time, only 12 bodies have been found in the strong current of the river.

Out of 152 passengers on the Airbus 321, not one survived as the plane wrecked into a dense area of trees. The area is located on a hillside just over the city of Islamabad and is not easy to maneuver..

The plane had left the Karachi area.Torrential rainfall was coming down when the plane crashed. The foul weather and the rugged area has made it difficult to get in to find the missing.

At this time, 115 people who had perished had been located. Their bodies were not in the best condition. It was reported that 12 of the bodies found had been identified while others were hard to tell who they were. They may have to resort to DNA to identify some of the people.

There were 2 Americans on the plane. No details of who they were are being released.

It is possible that the rain, and a heavy fog could be the reason for the crash but they have not ruled out sabotage. Anything possible is being checked out as a possibility.

The black box that sometimes tells what happened right before a crash has yet to be found.

The accident happened on Wednesday and is the worst airplane crash that has happened in Pakistan.

In Pakistan, as tribal elders and others gathered outside the office area of a senior government official, the bomber rode their motorcycle by the crowd and blew it up.

The elders had come to a meeting at the office of Rasool Khan. He is the assistant political agent of Mohamand territory.

The number that died in the bombing is said to be 65 at this time. There were another 112 injured.

A number of business’s also suffered from the bombing. Somewhere between 70 and 80 shops have been either messed up a bit or destroyed.

There was also a prison in the area where some low level prisoners managed to escape. Non are thought to have been rebels.

The incident happened on the Afghan border on Friday.

Police in Lahore have updated the death toll from today’s detonation to 43, with at least 100 injured. Two suicide bombers targeting army motor vehicles detonated explosives within seconds of each other in the Pakistani city quicker today. About 10 of those slaughtered were soldiers, said Lahore police chief Parvaiz Rathore. A series of small explosions went off later, terrifying residents in a dissimilar Lahore neighborhood. Police officials said the four low-intensity detonations, that injured at least three population,  describe the apparent  resulted from loose explosives – not crowded bombs – scattered through the residential area.  Some of the wounded were missing limbs, lying in pools of blood after the explosions.  No group immediately claimed responsibility, but suspicion quickly fell on the Pakistani Taliban and al-Qaida. The militants are believed to have been behind scores of attacks in U.S.-allied Pakistan over the last several years, including a series of strikes that began in October and lasted around three months, killing some 600 people in apparent retaliation for an army offensive along the Afghan border. In more recent months, the attacks were smaller, fewer and confined to remote regions near Afghanistan.

Pakistan – A bomb blast at a mosque in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal band slain 29 persons encompassing some militants on Thursday, pointing the relentless security risk in Pakistan even as Pakistani-U.S.  collaboration against extremism seems on the upswing efforts.

It was reported that the explosion in Khyber tribal district came as U.S. exceptional envoy Richard Holbrooke contacted with Pakistan’s major minister in Islamabad, the capital. It is moreover pursued revelations that Pakistani administration have been picking up Afghan Taliban managers on their dirt, a longtime U.S. demand.

The great and terribly blast ripped through a mosque in the Aka Khel locality of Khyber, murdering not less than 29 persons and wounding some 50 other ones, localized authorized Jawed Khan said. Earlier accounts had said the explodes appeared in the Orakzai locality at a beef cattle market. The two localities boundary one another, and the market is evidently beside the mosque. Officials were still examine if the blast was initiated by a suicide bomber or a sown device.
