Twenty three prisoners died in Mexico prison violence.

Rival gangs clashed in a controversial prison within the Mexican state of Durango on Wednesday, deserting at  least  23 inmates dead. Army and federal troops with police were posted within the quell battling between gangs which burst out curtly as soon as breakfast at the jail housing 1,800 inmates, well again capacity, outside the city of Durango.

It took 40 minutes for the protection officers to quell the conflicts, reportedly between members of the rival Gulf and Sinaloa drug cartels using makeshift weapons but none firearms. The prison was framed via army troops and police, as dozens of cousins of the prisoners gathered outside the facility nervously waiting for news of their loved ones. Durango and its neighboring states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua earn up a region of Mexico dubbed “The Golden Triangle” because of the size of marijuana, opium and heroin production behaved there.

TIJUANA, Mexico (AP) — A bus bringing farm employees and their households home has plunged off a cliff in northern Mexico, murder 14 people. A police news says the bus was traveling along a treacherously snaking stretch of highway as shortly as it plummeted off the 130-foot cliff halfway between the frame cities of Tijuana and Mexicali. The employees were returning home to Sinaloa say from farms in Baja California state. Tijuana Red Cross director Fernando Esquer says infants were among those killed. The activate of the crash ago dawn Saturday is beneath investigation.

MEXICO CITY – Gunmen killed fifteen persons on an isolated ranch in the northern  Mexico, encompassing a famous farm-worker foremost, in the newest grisly strike in a locality  overrun by pharmaceutical gangs, local policeman said on Friday.

18 killed at drug treatment center carnage in Mexico

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico, resident mopping the blood at sidewalk out of a drug treatment center on 3rd September, 2009, to clean up the circumstance where the carnage occurred, gunmen forced some patients staying against a wall, then shot them down, 18 killed for it.

It’s already the third time of attack at drug treatment center in Ciudad Juarez, and Chihuahua state authorities said the  investigation had found out that these centers’d become hideouts for drug smugglers and gangs kept hitting each other.

Genaro Garcia Luna, Public Safety Secretary, Who’s top law enforcement official, said rehab clinics were used by drug sellers for recruiting and training centers as well.

The Associated Press was told by Genaro Garcia Luna that recently a drug suspect from La Familia cartel secretly saw some private, non profit drug treatment centers at western Michoacan state, the suspct said there could be 9,000 recruits trained for the cartel in year 2008.

It was reported that around 19 inmates have been murdered  and more than 20 wounded in a riot in a detention center in the north Mexican state of Durango, security representatives say.

Smoke was observed getting higher from the detention center in the town of Gomez Palacio, and gunfire were discovered. The hostility established from rivalry between gangs in the prison.

State agent Jorge Torres said that while the circumstances was now composed the complete sky was tense. He delineated the detention center as a “time bomb”.

He advised Mexican video the conflicting was a “conflict for dominance” and put forward that inmates being kept central government prescription doctors and directed crime-related accusations might be behind the ferocity.

Durango has been the outlook of clashes between the Gulf and Sinaloa prescription doctors cartels in fresh months.

Hurricane Andres cause havoc and death in Mexico

Hurricane
The high speed winds detected breezing towards the state of Mexico continued their flow and resulted in a heavy storm causing havoc and death.
The turbulence caused by the speed of the wind resulted in the tropical depression which inturn resulted in Hurricane that has runned over the land of Mexico.

There have been reports confirming death one person only till now. Many other have been reported trapped on the streets and highways in midst of the rains.
Heavy rains poured down causing a huge flooding making it really difficult for the commuters to move around.
The traffic and offices have been shut for the time until the weather gets a little better for the working people to travel.

Rescue teams are under way fighting their way through the difficulties thrown upon by the weather and trying to save as many trapped people as possible.

Fire in Mexico claimed lives of children

When the group of children was having fun in a daycare centre in Mexico, never did they expect that they would become victims of a fire disaster. As many as 29 children were reported dead, with official warning that the death toll could be higher. According to police spokesman, the fire broke out in a tyre depot situated just next to the daycare centre. The fire spread fast in the presence of flammable materials, soon the daycare centre was covered by the blaze.

The effort to evacuate all the children was met with difficulties with fire spreading at a rapid rate. Most children have been brought out from the centre, however, some were trapped inside. Upon the arrival of firefighters, they responded by knocking holes in the walls to rescue children.

Desperate parents rushed to hospital for their children, while some were unable to locate their child. Rescue works started as soon as the fire was put out.

With investigation still ongoing, there are criticism that the daycare centre should not be situated in close proximity with the tyre depot.

Violence concerning drugs have become much of a issue for the Mexican government to deal with. Relentless fighting over drug spoils and territories have been common occurrence in Mexico, whereby it could happen as frequent as on a daily basis. Though Mexican government have been putting in much efforts to eradicate drug trafficking, results are not promising.

Dead bodies, exchange of fires, and attack on police personnels are becoming more and more prevalent. The situation is made worse with corruption seeping in. It is said that police officers are often bribed by local syndicates, making drug trafficking even more difficult to target.

As different drug gangs struggle to own drug routes into the US, more are expected to be killed in the event of gang wars. Whether the government is getting nowhere into busting drug syndicates, or rather, it has been so successful that remaining gangs are fighting for the left-over drug spoils. The issue is left to be discussed.
