 The Indian AN-32 military plane had unexpectedly crashed just moments after lift-off from Mechukha (near the border of China), taking the lives of all 13 passengers it was carrying during a regular supply mission trip to military personnel in the front line.

Search teams – both air and ground – were dispatched as soon as plane signals could not be detected. After halting the search on Tuesday due to problematic weather, they resumed their rescue mission on Wednesday to which they have recovered the bodies of several casualties in the ruins, located in the hilly terrains north-east of Arunachal Pradesh.

An air force spokesperson released news that it would be premature to divulge on the actual cause of crash and technical issues would not be ruled out.

In the locale of southern Iraqi – Bathaa, a fatal bomb blast occurred in the midst of a busy market. It has been reported that a parked car was blown up, killing at least 28 people and injuring some.

Victims have been sent to a hospital in Nasiriya; among the fatalities were women and children.

The scene of bloodshed has been seeing some violent fights between Shia militia factions, and the blast came in just when US forces were expected to withdraw their troops.

The public is apprehensive about the situation, fearing an increase in assaults despite information stating a drop in the attacks in Iraq. US troops aim to pullout of Iraq by 30 June and is scheduled to seize all battle activity by September 2010. Amid distressed feedback in the community regarding possible seditions, Iraqi leaders still firmly believe that the nations’ army are able to protect the country well – without aid.

Bomber have kill 43 people and injure 38. He have drive car full of explosive to paramilitary police training school. Algeria was attacked before by militants linked to al-Qaeda. Algeria has been struggling to emerge from a long civil conflict that started in 1992 when the army intervened to prevent a hardliner Islamic party winning parliamentary elections. Violence is reduced comparing it to a previous years, but this kind of attacks happen. Algeria is major exporter of oil and gas. No claims of responsibility for this attack was reported.

Heavy monsoon rains destroyed houses and flooded parts of Andhra Pradesh. Monsoon rains have kill at least 40 people. More than 150 000 people have been moved to makeshift camps. Monsoon season starts at June and last until September. This year over 100 people die in monsoon rains.

6.0 magnitude earthquake hit China, Sauchian region and kill 3 people and destroy more than 1000 houses. Major reconstruction efforts have been under way in Sichuan province since the 12 May earthquake, which left about five million people homeless. The quake came a few hours after the Olympic torch was paraded through Sichuan’s provincial capital, Chengdu, the last leg of its journey before it returned to Beijing for the opening ceremony. Officials are working to assess the damage and help those affected by the aftershock.

49 people have die and more than 150 were injured after bomb exploded in western Ahmadabad. 17 bombs exploded in residential areas, market places, public transports and hospitals. There is many bombs that didn’t explode and bomb specialists have defuse them. Indians Mujahideen have claimed responsibility for this attacks. President Pratibha Patil urged people to remain “steadfast in this testing time and maintain peace and harmony”. India’s leaders have appealed for calm.

Island of Rhodes was awaken by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake at 6:26 AM. Two deaths were recorded. One hotel were evacuated. 450 kilometers from Athena was epicenter. Earthquake was felt in all parts of Greece and Turkey and even in Israel and Cypar. Specialist have issued tsunami warning, so stay away from coast. “This was most likely the major quake and there will be more aftershocks to follow, which are not really a cause for concern,” said Geodynamic Institute chief George Stavrakakis. Greece is often rattled by quakes but most do not cause serious damage. Second quake have hit same place but now only 5.3 magnitude. This quake is aftershock of previous strong earthquake.

Bomber rammed with explosive-laden motorbike into a police vehicle in southern Afghanistan, killing at least 18 people and hurting over 30 people. Taliban militants are blamed for attack, five police officers were also killed in attack.
