Hurricane Andres cause havoc and death in Mexico

The high speed winds detected breezing towards the state of Mexico continued their flow and resulted in a heavy storm causing havoc and death.
The turbulence caused by the speed of the wind resulted in the tropical depression which inturn resulted in Hurricane that has runned over the land of Mexico.

There have been reports confirming death one person only till now. Many other have been reported trapped on the streets and highways in midst of the rains.
Heavy rains poured down causing a huge flooding making it really difficult for the commuters to move around.
The traffic and offices have been shut for the time until the weather gets a little better for the working people to travel.

Rescue teams are under way fighting their way through the difficulties thrown upon by the weather and trying to save as many trapped people as possible.

15 people lose their lives due to hurricanes in France and Spain

France and Spain have experienced one of the fiercest hurricanes that have ever swept through the countries.
The winds flew in from low pressure area in Atlantic and intensified during their way to the land.
A total of 15 members were reported to be dead which included 4 children as well.
The deaths were recorded from central Spain and South western France, where maximum damage has occurred.
In the 15 members that have been reported most of them were elderly people above 60 years. Most of the incidents involved the person being crushed by an object which fell due to strong winds either in household or on the streets.
The children were caught up in a shelter where they went to take place in a match but the storm forced them to take shelter there.
Due to the strong winds one of the walls collapsed and all the children were trapped inside the construction.
Three children between nine and eleven were reported dead at the spot and one more child died in the hospital during the treatment.
Warnings have been given to most of the places and public service departments are trying their best to attend as many cases as they can.

Atlantic hurricane season is a period that last from the month of June to November each year. In this season, 2008, there have been a total of 16 storms. Following is a review of the storm status thus far.

The season kicked start on 30th May with Tropical Storm Arthur, followed by 3 other active storms in July. In the month of August, Hurricane Bertha lasted for as long as 18 days, marking the season record. On the 20th of May, Hurricane Bertha was coupled with 2 other storms, Tropical Storm Cristobal and Hurricane Dolly. Tropical Storm Fay in August was ranked the most destructive storm in the season, causing several landfalls across state of Florida.  Reaching the month of November marked the start of Hurricane Paloma, which eventually became a major hurricane as it progressed to late November. Satellite is monitoring further upcoming storms till 30th November, whereby the season officially ends.

Paloma turns into Hurricane and heads towards Cayman Islands

The intensity of the storm, Paloma has increased heavily and is now holding a lot of threat to the places it will hit.
Eventually Cayman Islands are the first prey that is going to experience the wrath of the storm.
Paloma has been recorded as the 8th hurricane in the Atlantic hurricane season.
Paloma is expected to strengthen further today and is due to make landfall across the Cayman Islands early on Saturday.
The hurricane warning has already been issued through out the island and evacuations are under way in huge numbers.
Possible next hits in the line for Paloma are Jamaica and Cuba who are on the watch to move with their preparations to face the storm

Hurricane Ike hits Texas

One million people was evacuated but 90 000 people decided to brave out the storm and news for those 90 000 ain’t good because Ike is having winds over 180 km/h. President George W Bush, who earlier declared a federal emergency in Texas, said the federal and state authorities would conduct the recovery effort together, bringing in generators and ensuring water and ice supplies. The rain is coming sideways. Debris is flying through the air. Things are getting ripped off buildings every second, and flying through the air. There is widespread flooding, and a hospital there is under at least 3 meters of water. The city Galveston has lost power and a number of houses are reported to be on fire. Hurricane Ike earlier caused devastation in Cuba and Haiti, where hundreds of people have died in several tropical storms over the last month.

Hurricane Ike coming in Mexican Gulf

After Gustav and Hana, Ike is coming as biggest treat so far, he is currently hurricane at category 3 and he treats Florida and USA coast. Ike devastated Cuba and Caribbean Islands with winds over 200km/h. At least 800 000 people have been evacuated in Cuba, many building were damaged beyond repair. Ike killed at least 61 people in Haiti. Ike is causing heavy rains and torrential winds which destroy everything on hes path. Ike will hit Florida on Tuesday and some residents have receive orders to evacuate. See Ike’s path.
