Tropical Storm lashes south China and Vietnam

Heavy rain
Originating in the South China Sea, the twenty-second tropical depression of the Eastern Pacific storm season brought as much as 400mm (19 inches) to the region.
Hannan was the first to see the faces of the heavy rains. It hit the island on Saturday and continued pouring till Tuesday. According to the reports 3 members have been reported dead and several others injured. Constant evacuation is under way, the flood has taken 150 small villages with it.
On Wednesday it took its course from Hannan to the eastern side of Vietnam, but it did not last as long as it lasted in Hannan. For now the threat is gone but mild rains are expected due to the moist these heavy rains have caused.
