In the north eastern parts of China, in the province of  Heilongjiang, a passenger plane crashed. There were at least 42 people on board the plane the died.

There were 96 people on board the plane at the time of the crash. As it over shot the runway trying to land at Yichun City’s airport, it exploded into flames. The accident happened at 1336 GMT. 5 of the people on board were crew members.

Of the people that survived the wreckage, 3 of the 49 are listed in serious condition.

The plane departed the provincial capital of Harbin at 2051. It was an Embraer ERJ-190.

Among the people on board the flight was 5 children.

Most of the people who survived did not have serious injuries.

It is possible that the airport had been covered in fog at the time of the accident.

A train crashed into a standing train on Monday killing at least 60 people and wounding 92 more in the eastern parts of India.

The impact was so forced that it threw the top off one of the cars that were hit up onto the overpass.

People had to be cut out of the train with gas cutters. They are similar to blow torches. The Train cars were a tangles mess. They used huge cranes to pull the wriggled train parts from the tracks.

There has been some financial aid set up for people who died or were seriously injured in the crash.

They are looking into what caused the crash.

India has a poor record when it comes to train accidents. Most have been found to be due to mistakes make by humans.

On a middle island, Cebu located in the Philippines,  there has been reported that at least 15 people loss their lives and an additional 48 injured in a crash of a runaway bus.

The driver of the bus steered it into a concrete wall to prevent it from running into people standing nearby.

The factory workers were on the bus returning home when the brakes quit working. The bus went out of control.

Bus crashes are very common in the Philippines. The last one happened in June. They are normally are fatal crashes. The last one took 21 lives.

Today, Saturday June 26th, at about 7:15am a fatal collision between a truck and a bus occurred in the eastern part of India.

The bus ran head on into the truck. Possibly more then 23 of the passengers perished in the accident that were on the bus. Another 25 of the passengers did get injured in the accident.

The bus driver, another one of the fatalities, is considered at fault for the accident.

“It’s a case of rash driving,” Neelmani, a state police spokesman said.

It is rather common for fatal accidents to occur in India. In 2008 close to 138,000 people died in accidents on the national highways.

It was early Sunday morning. A bus traveling along on an freeway in Fuxin City, which is located on the NE side of China’s Liaoning province, was hit by a truck going the wrong way.

The truck had just pulled out of a service station and must have missed the going wrong way sign. The driver continued on and the truck ran directly into the bus. A fire resulted from the crash.

There were three people in the truck that died and 28 people riding on the bus also died at the time of the crash. There were 22 passengers transported to the hospital. One of them died at the hospital.

The bus was traveling from Tianijin to Harbin. It is registered in the Tianijin municipality. The accident occurred at about 3am.

The roadway is under repair where the accident occurred according to local transport authorities.

For a short while, traffic was stopped but the road has now opened back up.

Police say a speeding bus has crashed into a canal, killing 16 people and injuring another 56 in southwestern Bangladesh.
Local police chief Awlad Ali Fakir says the accident occurred early Friday in Faridpur district, 64 kilometers (40 miles) southwest of capital Dhaka.
He says rescuers recovered 14 bodies from the wreckage of the bus and that another four people died while being taken to hospital.
Fifty-six injured people are being treated in hospitals, some of them in serious condition, Fakir says.

Kabul, Afghanistan  — Fourteen Americans past away in a two of helicopter crashes in Afghanistan on Monday, NATO’s International Security Assistance Force said. In the deadlier crashes, a helicopter went down in the country’s west.

Total number of Americans slain in chopper smashes was 14. Seven U.S. service constituents and three U.S. citizens were slain in one. Four other U.S. service constituents were slain in another chopper smash into Monday. Two other NATO-led service constituents were injured.

The occurrence is actually being investigate, but it is verified that hostile blaze was not involved,” ISAF said in an previous report release. Separately, ISAF said a junction worldwide security force slain more than a dozen foe combatants while seeking a compound. The location was considered to harbor insurgents joined to narcotics trafficking in western Afghanistan.
