As of this time 7 workers who perished in the collapse have been pulled from the debris.
There have been an additional 18 workers that were found and transported to the hospital.
Family members are waiting to hear the new of their loved one who are feared to be trapped in the rubble. It is feared that they are loosing time for the workers to be rescued still alive.
There were possibly 50 builders on the location when the building fell.
A few of the builders have cell phones that are trapped and have been able to call family members.
It is possible that some heavy rainfall lately may have contributed to the weakening of the building allowing it to fall.
Just last week, there was a report sent out about how 65 percent of the buildings in Kenys do not meet regulations.
A witness of the collapse told reporters that there was a loud bang as the building cracked before it fell.
