Wreakage from plane
The only survivor of the crash is a 9 year old Dutch boy.
He was flying with his mother, father, and older brother.
The boy, Ruben van Assouw is in the hospital at this time. He did have an aunt and uncle come to see him there. He has many multiple minor fractures in his lower limbs and has been operated on for it.
He did suffer a bit from bleeding but that has stopped. He has been medicated to help him sleep.
The plane, an Airbus A330-200 was close to the end of their 9 hour flight when it was attempting to land at Tripoli International Airport.
It’s a real miracle that the 9 year old boy survived.
