According the reports made, some Gulf States including Mississippi and Louisiana were experiencing torrential rainfalls due to an unusual warm air approached from the Gulf of Mexico. This warm air eventually met up with another swept of arctic cold air, bringing down snow instead of rain for a period of time. Meteorological forecast is expecting a 5cm (2 inches) of rain across Mississippi. As warm air continues to travel in northeastern direction, officials warn that there might be possible flood and tornadoes along the region.
