Heavy snow storm
The winds have picked up pace and the snow fall hasn’t stopped in a while, depositing massively on the roads and buildings, leaving the pedestrians in total chaos.
Due to the massive increase in the snow fall a lot of people were reported to be injured.
Southland, Fiordland and Central Otaga are the places which have seen the most of the snow fall.
The snow fall din’t restrict itself for the mountain regions but also made its way into the cities.
As much as 20 cm snow fell across parts of northern Southland with locals describing it as the worst November snowfall they had seen in 30 years.
Further warnings have been given and all required measures have been under way to reduce further damage.
