    In Atlanta Georgia, a large system of rain pounded the area with thunderstorms and set of tornado’s. The storm continued to hit the southeastern part of the US on Monday causing the deaths of 19 or more people and leaving thousands of others stranded.

    It hit Monday,  starting in the northern parts of Georgia.The heavy rainfall flooded many streets in Atlanta and caused other airports to delay flights that were heading into the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. At this time there have been no deaths or injuries reported at the airport.

    The pounding rainfall and flooding did cause the deaths of 12 or more in Tennessee according to officials in Nashville.

    On Monday, in the morning  hours, they found the last victim recorded at this time. There were 6 more people that perished in the Nashville area.

    In Mississippi, there were 2 tornado’s that ripped through the area in which 3 people perished on Sunday. Another person,  making the 4th victim in Mississippi died in an accident due to the rain.

    There were three more people that died in the southern and south central areas of Kentucky due to the storm.
