Eight students were killed and up to 20 were injured in China

BEIJING – It was raining hard, and the hundreds of  young  children departing  their evening classes  rushed down the  slender stairway nearest to their dormitory. Somehow,  somebody staggered  and the ensuing trample of bodies left eight young children dead.

Television footage displayed a little pool of body-fluid on one of the landings of the five-story construction soon after Monday night’s stampede, which increased new anxieties about security in China’s pressure-cooker learning system. One scholar notified state newspapers that the tangle of persons come to as high as the third floor.

By Tuesday forenoon, scholars afresh were utilizing the steps afresh as categories restarted after a moment of silence, China Central Television reported.

The stampede in Xiangxiang town, Hunan province, one time afresh revealed how China’s schools are crammed with scholars but are constructed with little considered for their safety.
