PESHAWAR, Pakistan – A suicide bomber hit a court in Peshawar on Thursday, murdering 16 persons in the sixth strike on the northwestern town in 11 days as Pakistani armies press on with a foremost anti-Taliban offensive. The bomber strike at the major  barrier of the construction, beside the five-star Pearl Continental Hotel, where not less than nine persons were slain when attackers shot their way through a security check-post and blustered up a motor truck blasting apparatus in June.

Pakistan’s security forces are on the front line of a dangerous Al-Qaeda-linked crusade that has slain more than 2,550 persons in 29 months in the nuclear-armed Muslim homeland and has lately expanded in intensity.
