A Clash Between Militants and Troops Take 17 Lives

In Kabul, which is located in afghanistan, there were 14 activists and 3 soldiers from the international troops perish in a battle between the two. The deaths occured over a 24 hour time period.

There were  2 soldiers from the British military that were taken down during a partol on foot in Helmand on Friday. Then an ISAF member perished on Saturday, no information was given as to their country or where it happened.

At the same time, there were 11 freedom fighters that perished during a nighttime invasion by Afghan and NATO led troops in Sistanay which is a village found in the Nad-e-Ali area of Helmand state. The Helmand state is located in the southern parts of Afghanistan.

There was also found a large amount of black tar opium, a small arms stash and items to make bombs with were found during the invasion.

On Friday, there was an airstrike called for  against activists who were putting roadside bombs in the eastern area of Pakika state. There were 3 acitvist which include the commander of the Haqqani group that perished in the attack.

In another state, Khost which is located on the north side of Pakika, there was a roadside explosion that hit the car the the sub-govenor of the Bak district was riding in. The sub-govenor  only substained minor scrapes from the incident.
