Nocere – Earth Disasters

Clashes between the Muslim militants and the Russian police force have been ongoing in Ingushetia, in Russia’s troubled North Caucasus. The recent clash, described as the most serious incident in the mainly Muslim republic, took away the lives of four policemen and three suspected rebels.

According to Ingush president, a detonated landmine killed the four policemen when they attempted to enter a house during a gunfight. The blast took place in the city of Nazran, whereby three other rebels’ gunmen were killed as well. The exact death toll is still under investigation, as the number of rebels in the house during the blast is unclear. Buildings around the neighbourhood were damaged as well.

Officials have suspected of possible rebels’ suicide bombers to be associated with this recent bombing.
