Intense rainfall that began in the southern parts of Brazil on Friday has left ten individuals dead and over 8000 have no homes to return to. By Monday, the rain had basically left the area leaving a mess behind it.

Two of the individuals that died were found underneath mud from a landslide that hit the area on Sunday. The landslide was a result of the intense rainfall that had been beating down on the area.

A very bad cold over night in the northern parts of Mexico has caused an unnecessary passing of animal life in one zoo. 65 animals froze to death.

The Chihuahua Zoo found in the city of Aldama about 60 minutes north of Chihuahua loss numerous birds to temperatures as deadly as 5 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperatures fell over night and early Saturday morning.

Heavy rains like the ones the fell in Sri Lanka always end in disaster. 7 people lost their lives and another possible million people are without homes to return to. The rains fell in the North Central and Eastern areas of Sri Lanka and has caused a wide area of destruction.

Most of the now homeless residents have been set up in shelters at welfare centers and help is being provided.

50 people died in the heavy flooding that has swomped South Africa. There are 100′s that have been left without homes to return to.

The people living in the Eastern Cape Province are continuing to fight the unfavorable weather that has troubled them since the middle of December.
