Landslides in Uganda left more than 100 bodies

At the beginning of new month in Kampala, Uganda ; Nature shows unstable movement of Earth Crust.Massive  Landslides destroyed many villages near Elgon Mountain and these villages are on the Uganda-Kenya Borders.

Officials in Government and Army started moving fast, The army forces joined with people to search for the missing people and it was foredoomed about 245 persons that disappeared after Monday Night’s Landslides.

State Minister for Disaster Preparedness Musa Ecweru said that these landslides were caused because of unusually heavy rain as its the third week of  the annual rainy season ; The officials added that many bodies were recovered from a hospital and church as people ran their to find shelter but the hospital and church were buried under tons of mud which covered both places.

Minister Ecweru said also that the rate of death people is much higher as still crews try to go to the harmed region of vast but they still predict more rain to hit the area again, he added also that recovered bodies will be buried in mass graves.
