Late Monsoon and excess heat are taking its toll on the common man in India.
Reports have been pouring in with more than 100 people losing their lives and many more admitted to the hospitals to the wrath of the sun.

The most effected states are Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. Out of which Orissa had the bad luck of tasting the bitter taste.
More than 50 cases have been reported from Orissa alone. And sad news being most of them are daily labours, rickshaw pullers etc,.

Orissa has always been the hub for the extreme climates during the summer season, the run continues in the early monsoon too with the monsoon delayed and expecting 90% less rainfall the state is in need of aid.
Officials in Orissa have decided on declaring it a National Climate disaster so that the families who lost their loved ones atleast get compensated for their loss.

In the other parts of the country plans of cloud seeding operation are considered, if the situation continues to increase the damage.

This very sad. I can’t imagine their hardships. I sit with a fan trying to stay cool, then hear of people dieing from the heat and it makes my misery seem so minute.
