Nocere – Earth Disasters

As motorist were traveling along on the 4 land highway A19 in Germany, an unexpected sandstorm swept across the highway causing vehicles to wreck into one another. 8 people perished in the accident and many more, possibly dozens were wounded.

The incident occurred near the Baltic Sea in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state close to Rostock. It happened on Friday.

The accident involved 80 cars, and 3 lorries. There were 20 cars that caught on fire.

The sandstorm is thought to be a result dry weather, farmers getting the fields ready for planting and the high winds that day.

There were possible over 41 people injured. Many of the injuries are severe. It is possible there could be yet more deaths.
