As soon as it stopped snowing in Midwest USA, it started to rain making the situation even worse.

Midwest cities like Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and a few more have been receiving strong snow storms which resulted in power shortages, road blocks and many more devastation.
Now with rains upon these cities, the snow which has been accumulated here over the days is melting gradually creating a threat towards floods.
All the above areas have been given warnings against the floods and in many suburbs people were moved to safer places afraid of being drowned by the floods.

Midwest countries have been receiving varied weather in the recent days. Apart from the heavy snow storms there have been places where record breaking temperatures have been recorded during the recent past.

This extreme weather was caused by milder air pushing up from the southwest and colliding with cold air from the north. These storms are the atmosphere’s way of redistributing heat more evenly.
