FloodHeavy floods in Australia due to several storms

On Sunday, Northern and Southern parts of Queensland have experienced violent storms which have left more than 18 000 properties powerless.
A hospital near Gladstone, Central Queensland has been destroyed by the strong winds of the storm.
The strong winds blew away a lot of roofs leaving number of people homeless. Reports suggest that the threat is not completely faded.
On Monday, Torrential rains hit Hunter Valley, New South Wales causing flood and minor damage.
Cessnock in the Hunter Valley recorded 36mm (1.4 inches) of rain in half an hour, with nearby Local recording 48mm (1.9 inches). Large hail up to golf ball size was reported at Raymond Terrace.
November to March is the time for heat and humid climates in Australia, with frequent visits from violent thunder storms.
Reports suggest that the storm will remain in the coastal areas of Queensland and in the Northern part of New South Wales.
