Huge Explosion in Connecticut Kills at least 5 People

It was a immense explosion the shook the Kleen Engery plant that was still in the process of being built.

The plant would have begun operating this coming summer. Crews were working at the plant at the time of the explosion running test on the gas lines when the blast happened.

The explosion shook homes as far away as 30 miles from the plant. People looked out of their homes and saw brilliant orange flames coming from the plant. One resident referred to the shaking of their home as to an earthquake.

There were at least 5 that perished in the blast and another 12 people have been reported with injuries.

There are possibly more people that are pinned under parts of the building. There are rescuers searching the area.
