China bus fire

As many as 25 people in China were killed while on board a bus that suddenly caught fire. What could have triggered the fire was still unknown. Witnesses recounted that it only took a few minutes for the bus to catch fire, when it was travelling into the busy roads of Chengdu.

The fire came too sudden for most of the commuters to escape, while those who managed to survive were seriously wounded. Among the wounded, as many as 11 are seriously wounded and another five in critical conditions.

Local authority is still trying to figure out the reason that could have spark off the fire.
