Nocere – Earth Disasters

Following the major explosion of Tanzania’s armoury, the affected victims are now demanding emergency aids from the government. Though the government had announced that all victims would receive adequate aids and resources, however, much of it did not arrive as stated. According to officials, the explosion had killed 20 people, while nearly a hundred more has been wounded in the event. Among the deaths, most of them were reported to be of child victims.

This disaster hit in when Tanzania is experiencing one of its worst raining season, which posted much difficulties to the rescue work. Currently, authority is trying help survivors in the searching of their families, whereby most of them have been separated by the blast. The Red Cross has set up temporary shelters and camps to facilitate the reunification of separated families.

In fact, this is not the first time that explosion has occurred in army depots. Few years back, there have been explosion of ammunition dumpm that led to the deaths of more than 1,000.
