    The Indonesia coal mines explosion’s death number has risen to nine from the previous of five while others 32 coal miners were believed to be trapped underground, as stated by the local official on Tuesday.

    There was an explosion at Sawah Lunto of West Sumatra during the accident on Tuesday morning, as stated by the Head of the Provincial Disaster Management Agency Ade Edward. He also informed Xinhua in an earlier telephone interview that the methane explosion outbreak 15 people outside the mine exit. Five of them were dead and ten others were seriously wounded during that moment.

    He claimed that four bodies have been discovered later Tuesday which make the accumulated death toll to nine. Edward assumed that it was estimated 30 to 40 miners were trapped underground and unable have not been discovered. He also mentioned that the chance of surviving for those trapped people is slim.

    In the other hand, as stated by Rustam Pakaya, the head of crisis center with the Health Ministry, there were 32 miners missing and suspected to be trapped in the pit.

    A local TV Station “TV One” has showed that the recovered dead bodies were all burned and it reflect to a fact that lack of safety standard is the main cause of coal mine accident.
