China mine blast killed 18

China has always been known to have the deadliest mining activities in the world. Despite efforts by the government and local authorities to enhance safety in working zone, many mines in China are still filled with possible dangers for local miners. Within the first quarter of the year, China has already been receiving reports of mine explosion, yet Hunan province reported another mine explosion involving the a storage warehouse with explosives.

According to police officials, they are currently investigating the blast that might involve illegal storage of explosives. Having explosives that are not declared are both illegal, it also posted possible threats to miners when not properly stored.

To date, more than 3,000 miners have already fell victims to mining explosion in China. Much are left to be done before more miners continue to put their lives at stark on this dangerous activities.
