The plane went down Monday morning in the southeastern parts of Venezuela. There were 51 riders on board and the crew. It went down in the state of Bolivar.
Numerous survivors of the crash were transported to hospitals in Guayana. It was there that two or more of the people died.
It is amazing that so many people did live through the accident.
Francisco Rangel Gomez, the governor of Bolivar has stated that there will be three days of mourning. He has stated that is is a “miracle” that so many people lived through the crash.
The survivors “are with some problems, but they are alive, thank God,” he said.
The plane was traveling from Isla Margarita to Guayana. A witness reported seeing the plane run into some electrical lines before it crashed to the ground and blew up.
