Nocere – Earth Disasters

Population in Nigeria is equally distributed into two religious groups, namely the Muslims and Christians. Both communities have been living in harmony. However, the harmony started to strain in last November, whereby hundreds were killed in religious gang fight in northern Nigerian city of Bauchi.

Months after the fight, Red Cross officials reported another recent clashes that killed four people and wounded 28 others. Similarly, the conflicts took place in the city of Bauchi. The conflicts started off with an argument, which later turned violence. Many churches, mosques and house were set on fire.

The clashes came to a halt after Nigerian troops were sent in to control the situation. Security agencies have since been directed to deal with the perpetrators who have stirred the uproar.
