In a community of homes in Eastern Java on Wednesday during the morning hours while residents could have still been sleeping, an Indonesian armed services conveyance airplane went down into the area  resulting in the death of at least 98 people. Armed forces members continue to look for the injured and dead.

There were possibly 98 people and 14 crewmans on the airplane when it wnet down. The Hercules airplane went down about 6:30 in the breaking hours of the day. There could be more found deceased as the search continues.

Four homes were demolished and two local residents were killed from at least one of the dwellings.

As of this report, 15 onboard members of the airplane have been saved from the wreckage.

At a near by hospital in Madiun, it was reported that 19 persons were patients there from the crash. Many have life-threatening injuries and several broken bones.

Of the 19 at the hospital, there are military members, their families and residents according to Wahyy Nuryanto, a member of the staff at the hospital.

They continue to search for people needing transferred from the wreckage spot. There is much smoke still rolling out of a local rice field while searchers move rapidly to remove the injured on

improvised stretchers.

This incident follows another crash of an Indonesian Hercules airplane just the day before on a landing strip  as it landed to soon. No deaths occured in that wreakage.
