The shooting took place at Fort Hood army base located in Texas.
There were ten armed forces personnel and one non armed forces police autority that perished in the shooting.
There were also 31 people injured in the onslaught.
Hasan was to be sent to Iraq and seemed to be distressed about it.
It is being checked into that possibly another person could have been involved in the attack which happened at 1:30 CT. All the deaths happened at the first occurence which took place at the facility for solders readiness.
The weapons used iby Hasan were two handguns.
At this time as I hear reports over the local news stations, the number of people who perished has climbed to 13. News reports keep flowing in and will change as more information is obtained.
