Nocere – Earth Disasters

On Friday, July 17th, 8 people died and many more were injured as bombs blasted  within two high class hotels, the JW Marriott and the  Ritz-Carlton. The attack happened within the capital city of Indonesia. The hotels were busy with traveling international men of business and was being secured by a few of the best protectors available in Jakarta. The clients had just sat down to eat breakfast as the bombs exploded.

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyone, who had just retained his spot of president this month, is very upset and looks at this as a blow to the trust in S.E. Asia’s greatest economy. His plans on being re-elected was improving the security of the county and a rosier economy. He feels the attack was a group of terrorist calculating to hurt Indonesia.

The fault for the attacks will most probably land on Jemaah Islamiah an activist group which had been faulted with another attack against a Marriott hotel. They were also charged with another blast on the island of Bali in 2002 which 202 people perished. According to police chief, Danuri, it is too soon to place theorize.

The terrorist would like to produce a Muslim state over areas of SE Asia. They have been faulted with a train of assaults till the year 2005.

Apparently the culprits had signed in as guest of the Marriott hotel on Wednesday. They prepared the explosives in their room. There was another bomb discovered not set in a laptop computer bag on the 18th floor of the hotel.

“Room 1808 had become their post since the 15th (of July),” National police chief General Bambang Hendarso Danuri told a news conference, adding two suicide bombers had been killed in the blasts.

There is a suspect on TVOne  in Indonesia, as a man is sighted on camera tugging a bag with wheels on it thru the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton hotel. He is suspected as being a suicide bomber. He is seen with a baseball cap on his head and pulling the bag.
