As many as 4 explosions were set off in the areas of Shia, Khaznah which is on the eastern side of Mosul and in Baghdad.
Monday there were two trucks armed with explosive material that went off at about the same time. Some described it as feeling like an earthquake. It occurred in the town of Shia which is a neighboring the city of Mosul. In the explosions possibly more then 23 people perished and another 130 have been hurt.
As many as 30 dwellings were demolished in the blast. The number of people that perished could be more as they continue to search through the debris from the homes.
In another area, bombs exploded near contruction site. There were about 7 people that died from the blast and another 46 harmed. The bombs seemed to be set to harm people on their way to work for the day. The bomb had been placed in a pile of scrap.
More explosions blasted in the northern region of Shurta Arbaa. Another 9 people perished and 46 injured
Within two minutes, another bomb blew up in the northern region of Shurta Arbaa. This explosion injured 35 and another 9 perished.
The authorities of Iraq has tired to let the citizens be aware they are in command of things. That these bombing are being done by a few freedom fighters.
The people of Iraq are having a hard time believing this with all the attacks still happening. Even during a funeral, a explosion was set off in a car on Friday which took the lives of 30 more people. Then 3 more exploded in Baghdad also on Friday killing another 6 people who had been on a pilgrim’s journey.
