bomb blast
An open air hotel in Cairo was hit by a bomb explosion that killed a 17-year-old French girl. The girl was one of the tourist in the hotel, where the blast took place in the hotel’s cafe packed with other tourists. Twenty others, mostly tourists, were injured as well.
There have since been two different reports with regards to the blasting. Accoring to Egyptian police, the bomb is suspected to be home-made, which was thrown from a balcony. Another report states that the bomb may have been left under a bench.
The blast is currently under investigation, and no one has claimed to be reponsible for the attack.
