Anti-US protest in Afghanistan
Civilians in Afghanistan could no longer tolerate the killing of innocents in US air strikes, and have gathered to protest against their displease. Despite political leaders have repeatedly cautioned US to reduce the number of civilians casualties, recent air strikes launched by the latter took lives of hundreds. This event has sparked the uproar of locals, calling the US to leave Afghanistan.
The protest held was said to be violent, with protestants attacking police and government buildings with stones. The crowd was eventually dismissed with nearly 100 civilian protestants killed.
Having to face external threats caused by Taleban miltitants, it is definitely an urgent issue to first calm off internal conflicts.
