
Cell phones were sounding off within the bus as riders household members tried calling them to find out why they hadn’t returned home yet.
Martinelli, President in Panama, is reported as saying he had never seen any thing like it before. He was on the scene and witnessed the cellular phones ringing.
“The saddest thing was hearing the cell phones ringing inside the bus as desperate family members tried to call their loved ones who were not arriving at home.”
Most of the passengers in the crash were construction crew members returning home from work.
The crash occurred as the truck was trying to go around another vehicle on the peak of the Pacora River crossing at about 11 pm on Thursday evening.

The crash happened outside of Panama City which is the capital of Panama.
Friday morning they were still trying to search and find any missing passengers and helping out any additional injured.
