A volcano has erupted in Southern part of Chile sending smokes and ash high into the sky.
The Volcano has been calm for more than nine thousand years before it has recently erupted destroying the surrounding areas.

Chaiten city is the closest to the Volcano and has been victim to the disaster already once.
This time as soon as the government officials have detected the high level activity from the volcano they have taken charge of the situation and moved more than 150 Chaitens who live very close to the Volcano.

The Officials predict that the major destruction is about to come and are expecting a threat to the Chaiten city.
So plans are under way to evacuate the area and shift the people to safer places away from the Volcano.

More than 4000 members of the city are refusing to move as the place was their home since ages. But the officials have given away orders for the evacuation and are making sure everyone is moved out safely.

Many have sacrificed in Afghan missions since deployment in October 2001. Latest news from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported two British servicemen killed while on mission in southern Afghanistan. The victims were soldiers of 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery marine and 45 Commando Royal Marines respectively.

Both soldiers were caught in an explosion in Helmand province during an operation against enemy forces.

The deaths of both soldiers take the total death toll of British forces to 141 since operations in October 2001. According to sources, there had been previous attack on British soldiers in Helmand as well. One marine in the 14th Royal Marine, Travis Mackin, aged 22, from Plymouth, was killed in an explosion while on patrol in Helmand.

Police officials suspected a recent bomb attack in the Pakistani city of Lahore to be associated with terrorist attack. According to official sources reported by AFP news agency, the bomb was placed under a car parked on the road, which exploded killing one and injuring another four. One of the injured was hit by flying debris shattered from a vehicle during the blast. Police believe that government officials were the main targets of the explosion, since many live along the bombing site. This is thought to be an attempt by terrorist to create panic and spread terror, however, further investigation is necessary before conclusion could be made, said an official.

There has been a tread a rising bombings since last year, with most taking place in borders of Afghanistan. China being one of the closest allies of Pakistan has also led to many Chinese workers and officials falling victims to terrorist attacks. In one such attack, a Chinese engineer working for a hydroelectric project in North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) was shot by unidentified gunmen in a crowded market in the town of Malakand, northeast of Peshawar city.

Nearly 800 have been killed in Haiti after being hit by lethal storms for the past two months.  As a result, a total of 793 citizens died from the four storms which landed on the Caribbean nation in August and September. The phenomena namely Gustav, Ike, Hanna, and Fay also left the Caribbean country with 548 injured and 300 missing. Gonaives was the region which suffered most casualties, with 466 deaths, while the buildings were all destroyed and covered by mud.

Fuel tanker have exploded in northern Cameroon and unknown number of people burn to death. 30 villagers surrounded tanker after he crashed trying to scoop petrol escaping from the vehicle which was en route from Nigeria to Chad. After bus tried to edge past tanker , a fire was sparked and whole area exploded. Correct number of casualties is not know. But bus had 20 passengers.

Bomber have kill 43 people and injure 38. He have drive car full of explosive to paramilitary police training school. Algeria was attacked before by militants linked to al-Qaeda. Algeria has been struggling to emerge from a long civil conflict that started in 1992 when the army intervened to prevent a hardliner Islamic party winning parliamentary elections. Violence is reduced comparing it to a previous years, but this kind of attacks happen. Algeria is major exporter of oil and gas. No claims of responsibility for this attack was reported.

Bomber rammed with explosive-laden motorbike into a police vehicle in southern Afghanistan, killing at least 18 people and hurting over 30 people. Taliban militants are blamed for attack, five police officers were also killed in attack.

Belarus president was unscathed when bomb went off at open concert in Minsk. Belarus was celebrating Independence Day and some hooligans have triggered bomb, 50 people got inured. Later police found another bomb which didn’t went off.
