In Lahore, Pakistan on Wednesday, three different suicide bombs went off during the progression of the Shiite. At this time 31 deaths have been reported.

The three different blast happened within an area of 2000 feet injuring as many as 340 people. There were 7 that received serious injuries.

It was the work of suicide bombers. One officer saw a bomber just as the progression was coming to an end. He was unable to reach the person soon enough to stop him from detonating the bomb.

Just 3 to 4 minutes after the first went off, another explosion was set off and then another one 25 minutes later. While investigating the bombings there has been 2 heads and a torso found in separate areas.

Police had let up on the security during the procession as it was ending. There were 2500 officers patrolling during the procession. They had been told that a assault could be taking place.

“At the end of the procession, security should have been more vigilant,” Pervez said. “The incident happened because of security breach.”

The country of Pakistan consist of mainly Sunni Muslims. There have always been tension between the Sunni nation and the Shiites.

Local stations are showing photos of people who are very upset with the police, some are hitting them, others are burning cars and some are attempting to bust into a police station. Paramilitary units are patrolling the streets trying to regain some control.

Possibly up to 40 people died in and accident with a lorry carrying sugar that wrecked into a highway checkpoint. Flames shot from the lorry as it hit cars sitting in line.

There were many cars and two minibuses loaded with passengers waiting in line on the Lagos-Ibadan road.

20 different vehicles where damaged and a great deal of bodies that were burnt so bad that no one could tell who they were.

Police are reported as saying that there was no checkpoint on the road on Sunday.

According to Umar Shehu Elleman in Lagos, it is not unusual for police to have roadblocks that aren’t assigned by the police force. They set them up to take bribes.

There is no definite number of how many people died in the accident.

They only know by what witness’s have reported as seeing,  two minibuses and some cars. A minibus can have up to 18 riders at a time.

It is also been reported by that the lorry owners, that their two people in the truck died in the accident.

The explosion happened in a marketplace close to the city of Baquba in Iraq. There were 15 or more people killed in the explosion of the car bombing. Another 40 were injured.

The bomb was set off close by a mosque in Abu Sayda. It is a village that consist of mostly Shia and is located around 45 miles on the north side of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.

According to police, the explosion resulted in buildings falling down. There were both women and children wounded in the explosion.

The city of Baquba has experienced quite a few assaults lately.

A curfew has been put into action in Abu Sayda by the officials. They are concerned there could be more explosives in the area.

There were at least 21 people who lost their lives in two suicide assaults aimed at the prominent Shiite Muslim mosque located in the Zahedan.

Another 100 people were injured in the southeastern Iranian city.

Jundollah, a Sunni Muslim insurgent group took credit for the assaults. They reported in an email that the assault was in revenge for the hanging of the their leader, Abdolmalek Rigi.

Rigi was put to death last June after he was found guilty of conducting deadly assaults.

The organization of Jundollah says that they are defending the Iran Sunni Muslin minorities rights.

The two assaults happened close to the Zahedan’s Grand Mosque.

The dead include some Iran Revolutionary Guards. There were also some injured in the blast.

There were two explosions that went off as innocent people were in the area watching the final moments of the World Cup Game. 74 people died in the explosions.

Somali Islamist has taken credit for the blasts. Saying they were the instigators in the attack that took place in Kampala, the capital of Ugandan.

There was mention of other pending attacks by the spokesman for the Somali group.

It is thought that possibly a head found nearby one of the explosions is the head of one of  the suicide bombers. He was a Somali so it is possible.

This  is not the first time that the al-Shabab has threatened Kampala. There have been more threats on other areas, Bujumbura is one.

There was about another 70 people wounded in the explosions.

The blast went through a rugby club and an Ethiopian eating place. At the rugby club, they found chairs toppled over, blood and parts of skin on the flooring.

In Pakistan, as tribal elders and others gathered outside the office area of a senior government official, the bomber rode their motorcycle by the crowd and blew it up.

The elders had come to a meeting at the office of Rasool Khan. He is the assistant political agent of Mohamand territory.

The number that died in the bombing is said to be 65 at this time. There were another 112 injured.

A number of business’s also suffered from the bombing. Somewhere between 70 and 80 shops have been either messed up a bit or destroyed.

There was also a prison in the area where some low level prisoners managed to escape. Non are thought to have been rebels.

The incident happened on the Afghan border on Friday.

Again this year, as every year, when the Shiite pilgrims make their way to Baghdad for the festival observing Imam Musa al-Kadhims death, many have been killed.

The assaults continue even as the Shiite have ended the festival and are returning home.

There were possibly over 17 people who died in the latest assaults and another 107 wounded.

The assaults were done with car bombs and roadside bombs. A parked car contained a bomb while two others were placed close together along the road that the pilgrims journey. They went off near a restaurant on eastern Baghdad’s Palestine Street.

The Shiite pilgrims risk attacks by the Sunni rebels every year at this time as they make their way to the festival and back home again.

Even with the security that has been placed in Baghdad, the bombings still go on.

The Kadhimiya shrine is one of the most important shrines to the Shiite. It is one of the most holiest. The shrine honors the imam, who was a Shiite saint. He died over 1200 years ago. He was one of 12 of the imams honored by the Shiites.

Close to the Tuzla Romania Airport, which is located by the Black Sea, a Romanian military airplane crashed. 11 people on board the plane died and another 3 were hurt.

On board the plane was the air force Colonel Nicolae Jianu who was one of the 11 that died in the crash. At home, two children now without their father.

The other 10 who died, may have been parents, husbands, wives, they don’t say. All will be missed by their families.

It was just a little past 5:40 in the evening when the plane with 5 air force crew and 9 paratroopers from the navy on board, lost altitude and fell to the earth. It then immediately caught on fire.

The Romanian Air Force School located in Aurel Vlaicu, Boboc owned the plane. Colonel Nicolae Jianu was the Commandant of the Air Force Application School He was also an instructor.

The place took off from the airport as it would any other day for a typical training flight.

There were 3 survivors. One an airman and the other two sailors. They were taken to a hospital.

The crash is being checked out. The minister of defense and the general staff have all expressed how deeply the sorrow is they have for the deaths that occurred in this accident. They have conveyed their condolences to the families who are saddened with their loss.
