Possibly More then 38 Die in Pakistan Avalanche

Avalanche in Pakistan
Government authorities have mentioned that the number of dead could eventually reach 56. At this time it is reported that 38 people who perished in the avalanche have been located.
The village is so far out that it took hours for the news of the disaster to get out.
Rescue is hindered by roads that are blocked by the snow and terrible weather. Even a helicopter could not get into the area to help due to the bad weather conditions.
There has been a lot of snow the last fourteen days. This has resulted in an increased peril of avalanches throughout the north areas of Pakistan.
They will continue to search for the missing. There are thought to be women with children possibly still trapped beneath the snow.
