The climbers met with a huge avalanche after reaching a height of 7,260ft (2,200m) at around 1100 (0900 GMT). At that time, the group was on the verge of crossing a deep valley, but was soon hit by a huge block of dislodged snow.
Among them, 10 have been killed, while seven others managed to survive the deadly disaster. The survivors were evacuated to a hospital after being rescued by search teams who were equipped with shovels and accompanied by sniffer dogs.
Officials blamed the avalanche of being a possible outcome of unusually warm temperatures, which caused the loosening of snow.
