A heavy blizzard recently landed on Ohio, covering the whole state with thick snow. The snow was more than 20 inches thick in the capital city Columbus, and has set a new record, breaking the town’s previous record of 15.3 inches back in February 1910. Several other places were affected too, including Indiana, Arkansas, Louisville and several others. The phenomenon has caused major traffic congestions while officers had issued a warning to citizens to not drive unless there were emergencies. On the other hand, flights within the state had to be either canceled or delayed due to the hazardous conditions.
