    Swine Flu
A child in the US that had been diagnosed with the swine flu has died. It is the first US human death caused by the H1N1 type of virus.

Dr. Richard Besser, the current director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention  in the US is quoted as  Wednesday , “I can confirm the very sad news out of Texas that a child has died of the H1N1 virus.”

So far there have been 64 cases of Swine Flu in the US and 6 of them of them have been found  in Texas according to the CDC.

Mexico has had seven confirmed deaths from the swine influenza.  Besides the US and Mexico, even tho there are 112 cases of the swine flu around the world, no other deaths have been reported.

“Given what we’ve seen in Mexico, we have expected that we would see more severe infections and would see deaths,” Besser said.

The child was approximately 2 years of age.   This is a story that is changing as I write it.

In the second case which happened nearby the first crime scene, officials said that a shooter struck a Christian home and shot the father and 3 sons, leaving 1 son killed on the spot and the others injured.

The violence in the country related to extermination of Christianity has caused 14 Christians dead in October last year. The October alone, more than thousands of Christians ran away from Mosul right after the Muslim terrorists allegedly murdered and threatened them to become Muslim or they would expect to encounter death. Approximately 1 million of Christians have left Iraq after being aimed by the terrorists for extermination.

Tamils in London called for ceasefires

    Protest in London
    Protest in London
News of Tamil Tigers being forced to the extent of possible surrendering have led to the concerns of Tamils residing in London. Large numbers of Tamil protestants have gathered in a demand for the UK government to step in to resolve the current situation. According to local officials in London, the protestants are seeking UK government to bring forth the implementation of ceasefire in Sri Lanka via UN council.

Though the crowds have grew larger in numbers, however, the protest has been peaceful thus far. Gordon Brown, UK prime minister, expressed concerns over such conflicts happening in the country, and had since requested for an urgent meeting with the UN council. The prime minister shall be discussing the issue with the council for an immediate ceasefire between the two conflicting parties in Sri Lanka.

On the other hand, the Sri Lankan government is against the idea of ceasefire as it might give the Tamil Tigers the chance of regrouping. With as many as 100,000 civilians trapped in the conflicting zone, more are bound to fall victims to clashes if the issue is not resolved.
